Corinne Romabiles, PhD

CONSULTANT FOR LEARNING

Corinne is an adjunct faculty at the MS Innovation and Business Program at the Asian Institute of Management where she authored & teaches 2 courses: Philippine Branding and Art-Science Thinking. She was a professor of art & communication among Engineering, Multimedia Arts, Digital Cinema, IT & Business students in Mapúa University from 2010 – 2020. Her on-going research on Art-Science has brought her to Harvard Univ., Case Western Reserve Univ. (2015) and Silicon Valley tech-companies like Google, HP & MIPS (2012 - 2018).

She trained in Visual Merchandising, Branding & Advertising at the Fashion School of the Academy of Arts in San Francisco, California in 2012 & 2015 and freelances as a Visual Merchandiser. She has worked for SM Dept. Stores, JAG, Levis, Dockers, Tesoro’s Inc., the DTI’s One-Town, One-Product Project and specializes in retail atmospherics & window displays for Philippine Souvenir Stores. She is the founder & creative director of Studio Idiyanale (2017 - present), a digital media studio that focuses on styling things Filipino & science communication.

She has a doctorate in Philippine Studies, major in International Relations (Asian Center, UP-Diliman) and an MA in Art Studies, major in Art History (CAL, UP-Diliman) where she pioneered a study on the History of the Philippine Souvenir Store & Filipiniana Displays. 

Her interest in Cultural Diplomacy & Nation Branding began in Italy, where she lived from 2003 -2006 to study Theology & Philosophy at the Pontificia Universita della Santa Croce, Rome.

Zarina Zapata

REVENUE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Zarina Evita Zapata is the Business Development head for Learning. She is also currently the CEO and owner of Travelhead Travel Services, a travel agency based in Pampanga. Aside from this, she helps manage commercial and residential real estate family business located in Tarlac and Pampanga. In college, she was granted a scholarship to study for a semester at Novancia Business School in Paris, France where she took courses in International Business. After graduating in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in European Studies and a minor in French at Ateneo de Manila University, she started her career as a Channel Development Associate for Pureit - Unilever Philippines. 

Later on, she became a Business Development Associate for the same unit and created nationwide programs related to sales and accounts management. Before creating her travel agency, she headed the sales team for Bali, Indonesia accounts of a travel booking platform based in Hong Kong.

Dr. Tom Kosnik

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Tom Kosnik is mainly a Partner at FoundersX Ventures. He works with startups in the FoundersX Ventures portfolio, as well as other startups, global companies, and other organizations that partner with him to accelerate the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystems in Silicon Valley and key cities in China, Singapore, and other ASEAN countries. He guides leaders in start-ups and global companies to pick the right new products and take them to market. He also helps them acquire customers, recruit and develop great talent, raise money, and manage a portfolio of partnerships.

He works with strategic partners to help the next generation of global entrepreneurial leaders by guiding field research projects with students in high schools and universities that will develop their business and leadership skills, preparing them to make a positive social impact in countries and industries around the world.

Tom has a Bachelor’s Degree from Duke University, MBA from the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is a tenured professor and founder of Global Entrepreneurial Marketing at Harvard University, a course that is still being taught to this date. Moreover, he was an adjunct professor in Stanford University’s Department of Management Science and Engineering from 1990 - 2018.
