The Embiggen Group was recognized as one of the five finalists for the Corporate Sustainability Champions category at the 2022 ORIGIN Innovation awards.
Award organizer TechNode Global announced the finalists last November 1, 2022, after 2 weeks of evaluating over 300 nominations from the Asia Pacific region.
Fellow finalists in the Corporate Sustainability Champions category include Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast, lifestyle-based insurance provider Income Insurance Limited, business transformation consultancy TMX Global, and Alibaba Group affiliate Cainiao Network.
“We are honored to be recognized alongside a group of innovative and inspirational companies from across the Asia Pacific region. This recognition is a testament to the work and innovation we are doing here in Embiggen,” said Rolan Marco Garcia, Embiggen Founding CEO and Managing Partner.
In the announcement, TechNode Global wrote that the Corporate Sustainability Champions award category is “an accolade to recognize Multinational corporations or domestic business leaders on their exemplary efforts to incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices in their businesses in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).”
Co-founders Rolan Marco Garcia, Earl Valencia, and Paul Pajo founded Embiggen on the belief that innovation is the solution to the world’s most pressing problems including inaccessible healthcare, widening education gaps, and water scarcity.
