The Embiggen Innovation Institute (EII) launched the first batch of the Embiggen Innovation Leaders Fellowship (EILF) program at a kick-off event in Makati City, Philippines, last October 3, 2023.
“With this new fellowship, Embiggen has created one of the few collaborative spaces in the Philippines that is particularly focused on innovation. Having this space is crucial for any innovator that wants to hone their craft and go one step closer to achieving their goal of becoming their organization’s next Chief Innovation Officer,” said Embiggen Founding CEO & Managing Partner Rolan Marco Garcia.
The first batch of fellows is composed of innovators from various industries including FMCG, insurance, and IT. At the kick-off event, Embiggen Founding CEO & Managing Partner Rolan Marco Garcia, Embiggen Partner & Head of Innovation Consulting Jimbo Reverente, and the rest of the Embiggen team joined the fellows.
“By bringing in innovators from various industries and organizations, the EILF program is one of the only places that Philippine-based innovators can learn from each other while simultaneously getting guidance from the region’s leading innovation experts who will be managing the program,” added Garcia.
Over the next 9 weeks, fellows will cover a wide range of topics such as innovation intent and strategy, design thinking and ideation, lean startup and rapid experimentation, agile innovation and execution, technology trends and disruption, and open innovation and collaboration.
They will also cover innovation finance and resource allocation, innovation metrics and measurement, organizational culture and change management, leadership and stakeholder management, and innovation impact and sustainability.
The Embiggen team custom-made this curriculum to ensure fellows develop crucial skills that will enable them to successfully lead their organization’s innovation initiatives, promote collaboration, understand design thinking principles and ideation techniques, and apply agile and lean startup methodologies.
