MANILA, PHILIPPINES – All 11 Embiggen-trained exam takers passed the May 2023 Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI) Level 1 certification exam.
The students now have the certification level of “Innovation Associate” from GIMI, the worldwide standard certification body for innovation and innovation management.
Embiggen is the exclusive certified training partner of GIMI in the Philippines.
“I congratulate all our students for passing the recent GIMI certification exam. We, at Embiggen, are proud of the dedication, hard work, and commitment our students have put in throughout the innovation certification program,” said Masaki Mitsuhashi, Managing Director of the Embiggen Innovation Institute.
Mitsuhashi was also the lead trainer for the recent cohort of GIMI students.
“We look forward to seeing our students apply the skills and tools they learned in their own innovation projects and endeavors in the coming years,” added Mitsuhashi.
The GIMI Level 1: Associate certification is the introductory level in the Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) program. Here, students are taught the fundamentals of innovation and are trained to use the quintessential innovation tools and methodologies.
The GIMI innovation certification program emphasizes on an action-learning approach, where students are primarily trained using simulated innovation projects from Day 1.
This month’s batch of innovators came from various corporations and businesses in the Philippines including F(DEV), the corporate innovation and venture arm of the Filinvest group. Previous Embiggen-trained GIMI-certified innovators came from corporations like the Energy Development Corporation.
The next cohort of the GIMI Level 1: Associate certification program starts on July 18, 2023.
