Embiggen spearheads new advanced innovation learning program with the Asian Institute of Management

The Embiggen Innovation Institute (EII), in partnership with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), successfully launched the first learning program focused on innovation management and advanced intrapreneurship in the Philippines last August 2022.

20 participants from AIA Philippines, Globe Telecom, Inc., AXA Philippines, the Universal Robina Corporation, and the RealGen Group joined the inaugural batch of the Innovation Management and Advanced Intrapreneurship Program.

The program is conducted in partnership with one of the most prestigious Asian business schools, the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). It is targeted to empower innovators to make their corporations more competitive and resilient in today’s rapidly changing and disruptive world.

The participants join a network of over 1,000 innovators that EII has trained in the Philippines. EII’s programs include GIMI’s innovation certifications, the Asian Institute of Management’s Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Innovation & Digital Leadership, and bespoke innovation bootcamps.

Innovation Management and Advanced Intrapreneurship Program

Corporations today find it difficult to manage their innovation portfolio, especially as today’s economic climate is marred by multiple crises and uncertainty.

Even before the pandemic, experts stated that corporations worldwide find it difficult to innovate, with many big firms being disrupted and outpaced by more innovative startups.

The Innovation Management and Advanced Intrapreneurship Program was designed to address this issue. The program trains corporate innovators to successfully build and manage their organization’s innovation portfolio, making their organizations more competitive in the market.

This program aims to equip innovators with the skills and knowledge they need to grow their organization through innovation and see their innovation initiatives succeed. Through Embiggen’s Enable-Establish-Execute learning framework, participants can go from theory to implementation within the duration of the program.

The program’s faculty included highly-experienced innovators such as Embiggen’s CEO Rolan Marco Garcia, and Embiggen Innovation Institute Managing Director Masaki Mitsuhashi.

Garcia is the Founding CEO and Managing Partner of the Embiggen Group, an international corporate venturing group that builds and invests in new digital ventures with trailblazing corporations at startup speed. He recently won the world championship in the 2021 Winter IXL Innovation Olympics – the largest and most prestigious innovation consulting competition in the world along with top business schools in the world like MIT and Yale.

Mitsuhashi is a Certified Innovation Professional and an Innovation Master from the Global Innovation Management Institute. He recently graduated from the Asian Institute of Management with the degree Master of Science in Innovation and Business where he was the sole recipient of the TEKTONIK Scholarship Award.
